Luckless Punjabi misses another season through injury
Another short Article of a series by Elliot Slater does not necessarily mean that any of the horses mentioned will form part of our Racing Tips
The talented but injury prone 2009 Champion Hurdle winner Punjabi will not be seen in action again until the 2012/13 campaign at the earliest having suffered yet another setback that requires him to take things easy, much as he did last term when sidelined for the whole of the campaign, writes Elliot Slater.

Another short Article of a series by Elliot Slater does not necessarily mean that any of the horses mentioned will form part of our Racing Tips
Sam Waley-Cohen very nearly blew his big race mount on Long Run in the Grade 1 William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on Boxing Day when picking up a ban at Fakenham on Monday for taking the wrong course on his father’s Otage De Brion in the New Year’s Day Racing at Fakenham Handicap Chase, an error of judgement that incurred the wrath of the stewards at the Norfolk track, writes Elliot Slater.

Going Reports
In recent articles we have made comments about how much more difficult it is to come up with racing tips when the ground conditions are not know. In a piece on Mark Tompkins website it would appear that he has similar opinions about watering – I quote”
| “Talking about surfaces, the clown at Yarmouth put water on the course in the morning to keep it good-to-firm, only for a shower of rain to change it to soft. When you declare at 48 hours on fast ground that is what you expect, not for the clerk of the course to water and change the ground. When will we stop the madness of watering? It is no good to anybody” |
What a Weekend!
Our racing tips this last weekend included a 50/1 winner in Status Symbol at Newmarket on Saturday and on Sunday a 16/1 winner – Bathwick Xaara at Goodwood. We have shown our members a massive 137 points profit over the weekend and that followed 2 winners on Friday (White frost 9/2 and Lady Sledmere at 11/4) so over the last three days the profit amounts to over 167 points. We have some very happy members who took our Horse racing Tips!
